For weddings up to 170 people, our Rideau Room offers a pre-function area for cocktails and canapés prior to dinner with traditional décor with modern accents. The Penthouse Salon is ideal for a more intimate wedding and features a backdrop of large windows offering splendid views of the nighttime Ottawa cityscape.

Executive Chef Russell Weir and his culinary team look forward to creating a menu that will inspire you. You can count on traditional favourites or new exciting selections, now including Halal Meat. Offsite catering is available to venues in the local area including the Parliament Buildings.

The region has three rivers in addition to the Rideau Canal, which is a UNESCO World Heritage site. We provide the lucky couple to be with a complimentary room when the reception is booked at the hotel. For wedding blocks of 20 or more, when the reception is not at the hotel, we will offer the Bride and Groom a complimentary room. We also offer sparkling wine and chocolate covered strawberries in the room with an upgrade to a suite based on availability.
